In order to test if the server has REST enabled:

  1. Open desktop browser and navigate to your Redmine server
  2. Make sure you logged out (important)
  3. Navigate to http://redmine.yourcompany.com/projects.xml where http://redmine.yourcompany.com - is your Redmine host url
  4. You may be prompted to login into Redmine
  5. If you see XML-like data then you have REST API enabled and if you see error page then REST API is probably disabled.

Device request limit has been reached, try again later

Due to security restrictions on Windows Phone if there were several unsuccessful network calls (e.g. HTTP ERROR 404 or 503) consequent connections will be blocked by device.

Usually this happens if you tried to login with wrong credentials multiple times.

In order to overcome this error please wait about 5-10 min (do not try to login within this period) and try again.
Another workaround is to restart Redmine To Go app (Hit Start on your device and launch it again from start screen or app list).

Unexpected error

Something unexpected happened; check if the host url is pointing to Redmine root folder.

Restart Redmine To Go app and try again.

Still not working?

Try connect to different Redmine server e.g. http://www.redmine.org/ and see if it works just to be sure where the problem is: your Redmine server or app itself.
